Google Translate doesn't work inside chat platforms. SwiftIn is natively integrated with 8 platforms:

Google Translate can't translate messages inside Slack or Gmail. SwiftIn translates incoming emails and Slack messages directly in the interface — and lets you type replies in your native language that get sent in the target language. Use Business style for client communication, Normal for team chat.

If you're in international Discord servers or Reddit communities, Google Translate can't help — it only translates full web pages. SwiftIn auto-translates individual messages in the feed, and Slang style makes translations sound like how people actually talk in gaming and social media contexts.

Google Translate has no team features. SwiftIn offers a team plan for up to 50 seats where each member receives their own 1.5M character quota and 5K TTS quota — individual allocation, not a shared pool that one heavy user can drain. Includes role management and a usage analytics dashboard so managers know how translation is being used across the organization.
