Refund Policy

1. Overview

SwiftIn ("we," "our," or "us") strives to ensure customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for our subscription plans, one-time token packs (add-ons), and cryptocurrency payments. By purchasing any of our products or services, you agree to this policy.

Billing unit — AI tokens. Usage on SwiftIn is measured in AI tokens — the raw units reported by the underlying AI models for each request. A token is the unit each AI provider charges us for — roughly one token per character for most languages, with some variation by language and provider. Plan quotas and add-on packs are denominated in AI tokens; refund calculations below reference unused AI tokens rather than raw character counts. The current list of AI providers is published at swiftin.dev/sub-processors.

2. Subscription Plans (Pro & Team)

2.1 Full Refund

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, provided that your usage during this period has not exceeded 10% of your plan's monthly AI token limit. If granted, your subscription will be immediately downgraded to the Free plan and all associated paid features (including Team access) will be revoked.

2.2 Partial Refund

At our discretion, we may issue a partial refund as a goodwill gesture in cases such as service outages, billing errors, or promotional adjustments. In such cases, your subscription will remain active for the remainder of the current billing period.

2.3 No Refund After 14 Days

After the 14-day period, subscription payments are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing cycle.

2.4 Renewal Payments

Renewal payments (monthly or yearly) are non-refundable. It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the next billing date if you no longer wish to continue. You may cancel at any time from your Dashboard without penalty.

3. Token Packs (Add-ons)

One-time token pack purchases (Starter Pack, Popular Pack, Mega Pack) are considered digital goods that are delivered and accessible immediately upon payment.

  • Unused packs: If you have not used any AI tokens from a purchased pack, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
  • Partially or fully used packs: Once any portion of the AI tokens in a pack has been consumed, the purchase is non-refundable. By completing the purchase, you acknowledge and consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and waive your right of withdrawal under applicable consumer protection laws (including EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)).

⚠ Important: If a refund is processed for a token pack (e.g., due to a chargeback), any remaining AI tokens from that pack will be immediately revoked from your account.

4. Cryptocurrency Payments

Payments made via cryptocurrency (processed through NOWPayments) are generally non-refundable due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions, subject only to any non-waivable consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction (see below).

EU consumers — right of withdrawal: By selecting cryptocurrency at checkout, you expressly request immediate execution of the payment and immediate access to the digital service or token pack purchased; this constitutes a waiver of the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m) for digital content supplied without a tangible medium. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are not affected; where local law requires a remedy notwithstanding this waiver, we may offer service credit or a fiat-equivalent refund at our discretion.

Before paying with cryptocurrency, please ensure that you have selected the correct plan or token pack, as the transaction cannot be reversed.

5. Taxes & Refunds

Card payments (Paddle): If your original payment included taxes (VAT, GST, or other applicable taxes) collected by Paddle as the Merchant of Record, any approved refund will include the full amount paid — both the product price and any taxes charged. Paddle handles the tax adjustment automatically. The refund amount shown in your bank statement will match the total amount originally charged, including taxes.

Cryptocurrency payments: Cryptocurrency transactions are processed without tax collection. No tax component is included in cryptocurrency refunds (where applicable).

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider instead of contacting us directly, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account and revoke associated services, including subscription access and any remaining token-pack balance.
  • Contest the chargeback with evidence of service delivery.
  • Restrict future purchases from the same payment method.

We strongly encourage you to contact us first before initiating a dispute with your bank. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and fairly.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team with the following information:

  • 1.Your account email address
  • 2.The date and amount of the purchase
  • 3.The reason for your refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

8. Exceptions

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases where we detect abuse, fraud, or violation of our Terms of Service. This includes, but is not limited to: repeated refund requests, excessive usage followed by refund requests, and account sharing or reselling.

9. AI Output Quality

Refunds are not issued solely on the basis of dissatisfaction with AI-generated translation or text-to-speech output (accuracy, content-filtering behaviour, pronunciation). All AI features are provided "as is"; see Section 10 of our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of SwiftIn after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
